The most important features new to this version are the tools for non-linear selections (e.g. the lasso and magic wand) and perspective correction, the shadow brightening (digital flash) and channel mixing effects, and new printing options; a calendar maker, contact sheet maker, and a 'paper saver'. There are also improvements to work with keywords (a keywords panel, categorization with a tree structure, drag-and-drop onto files) and photo security via digital signatures. Another important new feature is support for thumbnails and EXIF data for the RAW format and for full processing of Canon RAW files.
